Solo Ready to fly

The Solo, is Solo Flights ready to fly aircraft. This flexwing is designed to be the best of the SSDR flex wing models. Each aircraft consists of the Solo trike, the BB03 wing and the Solo 40 V-Twin engine. All built and finished by hand to a standard that is second to none. This flexwing contains all equipment needed for flight. All aluminimum is finished in a mirror polished finish. All paint work is finished in any of the many standard colors. (Metallic finish extra €280.00).
Each aircraft is custom finished to the customers requirements.

Wing details.

The BB03 wing is a 11 sq meter, high aspect ratio wing.
It is 100% double surface with a fully closed rear edge.
Built for ease of handling in flight it is one of the best
performing wings on the market being light in both pitch
and roll yet still extremely stable. This wing is tested to full
Bcar Section S standard so you can be assured of the strength of
you SSDR aircrafts wing.

The Solo 40 is a four stroke overhead valve V-Twin. Producing 40hp at 4200
rpm. The engine is extremely quite, economical with 5 liters per hour at cruise,
and reliable.

As can be seen from the photos below the trike is finished to a very high standard. With a full instrument panel comfortable seating with a full 4 point harness. 22 liter fuel tank, which is 3 and 1/2 hours plus a good reserve on this engine. A high quality 3 blade prop specifically made for this trike.
